  Prior to the present catch22 predicament I find myself in,I would have given. an excellent review, however the powers that be in Scott and White have placed several patients as well as myself in a situation they seem unable to solve. The hospital let Dr.de la Chappa go without any plan in place for his patients to be able to get their prescriptions filled using their Medicare insurance. So, I was extremely happy with the cataract surgeries done by Dr de la Chappa...but I am unable to get the new glasses that I need. The optometrist has told me that they can't get answers, so I called patient relations and the representative is trying to resolve the problem, but this is beyond their scope and I have been waiting for a call back from someone higher up the ladder without results. I did nothing wrong, I went to Scott and White in good faith and now I find myself unable to get my prescription filled and no one at Scott and White to solve the problem caused by THEM. It takes awhile to get glasses done once the order is sent in and this is definitely not being handled in an expedient manor, if it's being handled at all Post Script I was informed today that the matter has been resolved by Scott and White and the glasses can now be ordered. Thank you to patient relations for helping to resolve this for myself and the other people affected. Also, thank you for being so professional and keeping me informed.
